Actor Issues Updated

From planning to shooting our music video we had many problems with our cast. In total we changed our cast three times. We had to change our cast for various reasons such as lack of time available to film. We had a date set for filming and the second cast backed out on the day of filming. This set us back drastically as we had to find a new cast and film within a shorter deadline. This meant that we had added pressure to make less mistakes as it would be time consuming to go out and re-film parts of the video. Our third cast were good. They got into character and had good availability meaning we could finish our music video to a high quality.

Filming Bloopers

During A2 we had lots of footage that was unused for various reasons such as laughing and lack of relevance. After watching all of the unused footage I decided to create a bloopers video. The footage has came from focus group, voxpop and the music video.

Final Digipak

This post shows my final digipak for my band. I have featured symbols associated with music such as record and pause. This gives a link between the digipak and website that I have created to give a brand identity. I have also featured some similar images on both to show they are part of the same album. On my digipak, I decided to include lyrics to the main song on the album. This gives the audience some interaction with the band. The theme of black and white is shown throughout my digipak, website and music video to give clear fluidity between them. Whilst making this digipak, I had to conduct research to see what the conventions are. After the research I decided to add barcode, production company logos and create my own credits on the back. These all add an authentic feel to the digipak.
